Palingen operates this website. For privacy questions, requests to access or correct information, deletion requests or complaints, email hello@palingen.com.au. Include the website name and enough information to locate your submission, but do not email passwords or printer access tokens. Palingen may need to verify that a request concerns your information.
Enquiries
If you email Palingen, Palingen receives the address, message and other information you choose to send, and uses it to respond to and manage your enquiry. Please send only the information needed for that purpose. Enquiry records may be retained while the enquiry or an associated business relationship remains relevant; contact Palingen about access, correction or deletion.
Website visits and printed visitor tickets
This website sends its page path and referring address to a visitor feed. The hosting network adds approximate city, region and country, processing location and time. Palingen uses this feed to understand visits and can print visitor tickets on an operator-controlled receipt printer. A visit does not need a contact-form submission to be recorded. Avoid putting confidential information in URLs that link to this site.
Storage and retention
The visitor feed keeps the latest fifty visits. It expires after twenty-four hours with no new visit; a new visit refreshes that feed expiry. Printed copies have no automatic expiry. The private to-do page stores list items and an access key in browser storage for its authorised operator; list records remain until changed or removed.
Cookies and browser storage
The visitor feed operates through a network request rather than a tracking cookie. Necessary hosting or security processing can still occur. The private to-do access key is saved locally by the operator's browser. Links to applications and external services are subject to their own privacy notices.
Hosting and service providers
Cloudflare delivers and protects this website and hosts its application data. Network requests expose technical information, including your IP address and browser details, to the hosting provider. Cloudflare operates a global network, so processing can occur outside Australia. Provider security logs and backups may have different retention periods from the application records described above. Your choices and requests
You can browse without submitting a message or question. Where a feature needs information to work, leaving it out may prevent that feature from being provided. Contact Palingen about access, correction, deletion or a privacy concern. Palingen will consider the request and explain any limitations, including records already printed or shared with others.
